MISSION

Tara Wilson is a mother, entrepreneur and educator.  Born and raised in Greensboro, NC, she's a proud graduate of North Carolina A & T State University.  She has a son by the name of Jayce, who is her daily inspiration to be the best role model possible.  She co-owns and operates The Home and Art Academy which opened in June of 2018, and serves as an after school/summer camp program for children ages 5 and up.  Her program focuses on the basic skills of home economics, artistic expression and academic success.  By day, she works as an Elementary Art Teacher and strives to motivate students through creativity and thinking outside the box.  Working with young children and making a difference is truly her passion!

The Home and Art Academy encourages all participants through educational experiences & opportunities. We strongly believe in an interactive learning style.  The goal of our program is to offer a safe & structured scholastic environment that promotes creativity.  We know every child can succeed with the right amount of support!
